Upcoming Events & Opportunities to Connect!

ME 2110 Alumni Volunteer Opportunities

The Woodruff School invites local alumni to engage with ME 2110 students during their summer design project sequence. Students are building team design projects and will participate in two mid-project sprint design review checkpoints before their final design review and competition. Alumni volunteers will interact with student teams, observe prototypes, and provide feedback as students develop and communicate their engineering solutions.

  • Sprint Design Review Checkpoint 1: June 30, 9:30-10:45, MRDC 4th floor Atrium
  • Sprint Design Review Checkpoint 2: July 14 9:30-10:45, MRDC 4th floor Atrium
  • Final Design Review and Competition: July 27, Noon, MRDC Design Commons

No preparation is required. Alumni are welcome to attend one event or all three.

Woodruff School Young Alumni Summer Social

Join fellow Woodruff School in collaboration with the Woodruff Young Alumni Council (YAC) for an evening of networking, friendly competition, and connection at The Painted Duck. This event offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with classmates, expand your professional network, and engage with fellow young alumni (graduates of the past 15 years), current YAC members, and Woodruff School leadership. Whether you're a recent graduate or simply looking to strengthen your connection to the Georgia Tech community, we hope you'll join us for an evening of meaningful conversations, new connections, and fun.

Please join us for an upcoming Woodruff School Alumni Virtual Town Hall with Carolyn Seepersad, our new School Chair. She will share updates on the state of the School, her vision for the future, and key priorities shaping the path forward. Georgia Tech Women in Nuclear (WIN) 
Connect with this newly established, registered student organization dedicated to supporting, and empowering students interested in nuclear science and engineering. Through professional development programs, networking opportunities, and industry engagement, WIN connects students with professionals and alumni who can share insights, mentorship, and career pathways in the nuclear field.

Woodruff School alumni are invited to support and engage with WIN by attending events, serving as guest speakers, sharing career insights, or collaborating on future programs that connect students with industry leaders and innovators.
