Professional Summary
Adams has earned B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering, all from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has been a research engineer and instructor for the Woodruff School since 2019. Adams is currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Crane Safety Research Center at Georgia Tech, and has held that position since the center's establishment in January 2024. His research interests include the dynamics and control of multi-input flexible systems as well as safety and hazard analysis of complex dynamical systems and machines. He has taught courses on mechanical design (ME 2110) and advanced control systems (ME 6404).
